Puxico Cemetery Spring Clean-up

The City of Puxico maintenance department is beginning its spring clean-up of the Puxico Cemetery in preparation for the mowing season. According to the rules posted at the cemetery, flowers must be removed from the graves by March 15 unless the owner wants the City’s maintenance crew to throw them away.

The only flowers that the crew will put in the trash are those that are faded, ragged, or in disrepair. Flowers that are in good shape will be left on the graves.

Anyone who has flowers on their loved ones’ graves may want to go by and check on those flowers before March 15. If anyone has a question concerning the flowers, they can call City Hall, 573-222-3162, or come by and talk with the city clerk.
