Residents May Expect Low Water Pressure, Mon., Oct. 7

Residents and businesses may expect low water pressure Monday morning, October 7, since the City’s maintenance department will be working on valves at the water tower located on Cemetery Road. The water will not be shut off, but work on the valves will affect he water pressure. David Hawthorne, maintenance supervisor, stated that he planned to begin the work at 8 a.m. on Monday and the work should be completed by 11 a.m. Those residents that are located on the top of hills may be affected more than those in the more flat areas.

Hawthorne is expecting good weather on Monday. However, if the weather changes, he may move the work on the valves to later in the week.
